California Theatre Content Standards
We are pleased to introduce a new way to access the 2019 California Arts Standards (Arts Standards) adopted by the State Board of Education! The Content Standards Webpage now includes links with options to search the California Content Standards or to download a mobile application for use on the go.
California educators can use the mobile app for quick access to the Arts Standards, and standards in several other content areas including Computer Science and History–Social Science. Both the app and the link on the website can be used to search, filter, and sort standards to isolate specific content and grade level ranges, and identify standards common across disciplines to inform decisions around instruction and assessment.
Forthcoming updates will add standards from additional content areas and provide additional features to enhance the usefulness of the application to California educators.
Please note that these new searchable options do not incorporate the Introduction and the Glossary and it will still be important for new users of the Arts Standards to access and read those in their pre-publication format at the California Arts Standards Website.
